Meet the LCSWCD Board
John Trujillo - Chair
John Trujillo is the Stormwater Coordinator for the City of Newark Department of Engineering. John is a member of Water Management Association of Ohio, Water Environment Federation, and Ohio Water Environment Association. He is also a Source Water Environmental Education Teams (SWEET) member. John holds a BS in business management.
John Chacey - Vice Chair
John H. Chacey is a resident of Hopewell Township. He graduated from Worthington High School and attended Kenyon College and OSU. He is a farmer and retired construction superintendent and is involved with Ohio Farm Bureau and Licking Valley FFA Alumni.
Charles Warthen - Fiscal Agent
Charles Warthen owns and operates a family farm near St. Louisville. He retired from the North Fork Local School District in 2002. Warthen taught Life Science and coordinated the Outdoor Education program at Utica Junior High. He was recognized as the Licking County SWCD Educator of the Year in 2001. He earned his B.A. from Marietta College and his Master's Degree from Ohio University.
Chuck Clevenger - Secretary/Treasurer
Charles Clevenger is a resident of Hanover. He graduated from Licking Valley High School and currently is the Head Custodian for Licking Valley Elementary School. He is involved with the District, the National Wild Turkey Federation and local Raccoon Creek Chapter.
Debra Walton - Immediate Past Chair
Debra Walton resides in Liberty Township and is currently a high school biology, science, and marine biology teacher at Worthington Christian Schools. Walton previously worked for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) where she composed seven documents on local land use management for critical areas and then taught land use planning education courses for local officials. Walton earned her B.A. from Wittenberg, her Master's Degree from Duke and The Ohio State University and completed postgraduate work at the University of Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, and The Ohio State University School of Law.
