Earth Day Teacher Workshop

Attention all Licking County Teachers...

Licking SWCD along with Recycling and Litter Prevention will be hosting a "Prepare for Earth Day" workshop on Wednesday October 17th from 4:30-8:00 at the Licking County Service Center 771 E Main St, Newark. Attendees will recieve a $25.00 stipend, learn about grants for outside science labs and learn about past successful earth day activities. All activities meet grade level indicators for the OGT. Tri-State Woodland & Wildlife Workshop in Bryan, Ohio Saturday November 3rd.

There will be multiple sessions covering a broad range of topics including:

-Introduction to woodland management

-Bats: Not just for caves

-Tax considerations for woodland owners

-Managing woodland ponds
