Boating safety grants recently awarded

COLUMBUS -- Two local agencies have received Boating Safety Education Grants from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Watercraft, state Sen. Tim Schaffer, R-Lancaster, announced in a news release.

A grant of $19,856 will go to the Licking County Soil and Water Conservation District, and $7,554 will go to the Granville Recreation District.
