Jeff Carr - Chairman
Jeff Carr is a Civil Engineer Project Manager at ADR and Associates, LTD. He completed drafting and engineering programs with the Licking County JVS and U.S. Army. Carr is active in the Pun-Ching Bonsai Club and the Friends of Dawes.
Debra Walton - Vice Chairman
Debra Walton resides in Liberty Township and is currently a high school biology, science, and marine biology teacher at Worthington Christian Schools. Walton previously worked for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) where she composed seven documents on local land use management for critical areas and then taught land use planning education courses for local officials. Walton earned her B.A. from Wittenberg, her Master's Degree from Duke and The Ohio State University and completed postgrade work at the University of Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, and The Ohio State University School of Law.
Charles Warthen - Fiscal Agent
Charles Warthen owns and operates a family farm near St. Louisville. He retired from the North Fork Local School District in 2002. Warthen taught Life Science and coordinated the Outdoor Education program at Utica Junior High. He was recognized as the Licking County SWCD Educator of the Year in 2001. He earned his B.A. from Marietta College and his Master's Degree from Ohio University.
Jim Conrad - Secretary / Treasurer
Jim Conrad is a farmer and business owner. He graduated from State University of New York. Conrad is involved in the Licking County, Ohio and National Cattlemen’s Associations, Licking Valley FFA Alumni and Farmland Preservation Taskforce.
Jim Hoover - Member
Jim owns and operates Pleasant Hill Farm, a U.S.A. Bicentennial Century Farm. He currently runs 40 Angus cows and raises forage crops on his farm. Jim recently retired from being a Newark City Schools Elementary School Principal. He earned a B.A. from Wilmington College in 1967 and his Master's Degree from Ohio University in 1971. Jim is a member of the Perryton Church of Christ, the Ohio Angus Association and the First Facilitator of the District Home-School Advisory Committee for the Newark City Schools.
