Licking SWCD Board of Supervisors

Licking County Soil & Water Conservation District strives for a well-rounded Board of Supervisors.  The Supervisors, elected by county residents or landowners, help chart the course for soil and water conservation and natural resources management in Licking County.  The Board also provides supervision to the District Administrator, oversight of fiscal decisions and technical expertise.

See the District Calendar for BOARD MEETING DATES.  The Board generally meets monthly at the Agricultural Service Center, 771 East Main Street, Newark, Ohio 43055.  The public is welcome.  Please call, 740-670-5330, to confirm as the date, time or location may change.

Licking SWCD's Board of Supervisors are elected to three-year terms as public officials and serve without pay.  Elections are held each fall at the District's Annual Meeting (generally between early September and mid-November, see the District Calendar for current-year date).  For more information about the Board or running for a board position, please call the District office at 740-670-5330 or send an email to

Licking SWCD Associate Board Members

Associate Board members are concerned citizens who officially volunteer their time to assist the Board and District.  Associate Board Members serve on board committees, help plan, promote and implement district programs, activities, field days, etc., represent the district at various meetings and events, and present district programs to individuals, groups and organizations.  For more information about an Associate Board Member position, please call the District office at 740-670-5330 or send an email to
